Khatar congratulates Priya Malik for winning gold at World Wrestling C’ship

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatar has extended best wishes and congratulated Haryana Wrestler Priya Malik for making the Country and State proud at an international level by winning gold in 73kg category at the World Wrestling Championship (WWC) held in Hungary.

Mr Khatar said here on Sunday that this happy news of the daughter of Haryana winning gold comes just a day after Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu bagged silver medal at Tokyo Olympics.

He said that he hopes that like Mirabai Chanu and Priya Malik other Indian players would also bring laurels to the country. (UNI)
