Centurian Captain KL Rahul to squander 12 lakhs from his match fees

Mumbai:Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have been fined after they maintained a slow over rate during their Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Brabourne Stadium on Saturday.

As it was LSG's first offence of the season under the IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over rate offences, captain KL Rahul has been fined Rs 12 lakhs. LSG defeated MI by 18 runs. Ridding high on skipper Rahul's unbeaten 103 off 60, LSG posted 199/4 on the board. In reply, MI were restricted to 181/9. (UNI)
