Kolhapur's Swapnil Kusale selected for Paris Olympics in 50 metre rifle-shooting event

Kolhapur: City-based Swapnil Kusale, who came fourth in men's 50 metre rifle-shooting event of ISF World Shooting competition, has been qualified for the same event in Paris Olympics due to be held in the year 2024.

Swapnil is among three shooters selected for Olympics, the other two are Bhaunish Mendirtta and Rudraksh Patil of Thane.

In the qualifying round of ISF World Shooting competition, Swapnil had secured second place with 593 points and fixed his place in final round but got only 8.2 points and finished on fourth place. (UNI)
