Kolkata: India pacer Avesh Khan has said that he thoroughly enjoyed his T20 debut game in Kolkata and his dream came true for playing for India.
Avesh played his first T20 on Sunday against the West Indies at the Eden Gardens. He gave away 42 runs off 4 overs and went wicket-less.
In a video posted by BCCI on Twitter, Avesh told his teammate Venkatesh Iyer: "I felt really good. Every player dreams about playing for the country and my dream got fulfilled. I enjoyed the moment, the entire match. We won the game, so it was a good feeling. I will try to serve Indian team as much as possible. "Obviously I was a little nervous... Rohit bhai backed me, Rahul sir told me to enjoy my debut game... Will try to keep performing like this to make India win." (Inputs from UNI)
