Morne Morkel to hang boots after Australia series

Johanesburg: The Speedstar of South African cricket team Morne Morkel has decided to take retirement from international cricket after Australia series. The 33 year old Morne Morkel has played 83 test, 117 ODI’s and 40 International matches in which he has scalped 294, 188 and 47 wickets.

Morne Morkel started his career in the boxing day test against India in the year 2006. He stated that taking the decision of retirement was not easy ,but now spending time with family seems important and that is not possible in the busy schedule of International cricket. (WD)
