Mumbai Indian Cape Town sign Archer as wildcard for SA20

Cape Town: England speedster Jofra Archer set to return to competitive cricket as he become MI Cape Town’s wild card pick for the upcoming SA20 tournament.Archer, the leading wicket-taker and Super Over hero for England in their 2019 ODI World Cup triumph, has not played an international game since March 2021 due to an elbow injury and a stress fracture to the lower back.

After a near two-year break from international cricket, Archer is back with the England Lions squad.Running from January 10 until February 11 2023, Archer would be joining a host of our stars in the SA20, including three of his England teammates in Liam Livingstone, Olly Stone and Sam Curran.(UNI)
