The crucial innings by Van der Dussen 67 off 64 , Hashim Amla 55 off 83 and important cameos by Aiden Markram 38 off 55, David Miller 36 off 37 helped South Africa to put up a fighting total of 241/6 in 49 overs.
In reply, New Zealand chased down the target in 48.3 overs losing 6 wickets.
With this win New Zealand moved to the top of Points Table with 9 points in 5 matches of the ongoing World Cup.
