Hamilton: New Zealand thrashed India by eight wickets to claim a consolation win in the fourth ODI at Seddon Park on Thursday.Rohit Sharma failed to make his 200th appearance for India as he lost his wicket in the eighth over.
With this win, India are 3-1 up in the five-match ODI series.Ross Taylor scored an unbeaten knock of 37 runs and shared a match-winning 54-run stand with Henry Nicholls (30*).
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the only successful bowler for India as he took two wickets in Martin Guptill (14) and Kane Williamson (11).Earlier, Trent Boult claimed a five-wicket following which New Zealand bundled out India for paltry 92 runs in 30.5 overs in Hamilton.
