Perth: India’s star pacer and captain Jasprit Bumrah emphasised the importance of maintaining a fresh mindset ahead of their upcoming match, stating that past outcomes do not influence the team's approach to each game.

“When you win, you start from zero, but when you lose, then also you start from zero. We are not carrying any baggage from India,” said Bumrah during a pre-match press interaction here on Thursday.

Reflecting on the team’s recent performances, he added, “Yes, we have our learnings from the New Zealand series, but those were different conditions, and our results here have been different.”

Bumrah also confirmed that the team’s playing XI has been finalised but kept the specifics under wraps. “We have finalised our playing XI, and you will get to know tomorrow morning before the start of the match,” he said.

India is set to face Australia in the much-anticipated clash on Friday, with the team looking to build on their momentum following recent successes.
