Bristol:Pakistan and Sri Lanka's ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 clashwas called off before a ball had been bowled after persistent rain here.
The no-result on Friday, means the points were shared between the teams, pushing
Sri Lanka and Pakistan into third and fourth place respectively.
The rain had cleared briefly before the decision was made to call the game, but there
was not enough time to do the necessary clearing up to allow for a shortened contest.
Pakistan are next in action on June 12 against Australia at Taunton, while Sri Lanka's
next game is against Bangladesh at Bristol the day before.(UNI)
