India vs South Africa Series : A dispute is currently ongoing between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) over the 2025 Champions Trophy. The BCCI has informed the PCB that the Indian team will not travel to Pakistan for the tournament. Instead, they have proposed a hybrid model, similar to the Asia Cup 2023, where India's matches would be held in the UAE, with the final in Dubai.
However, the PCB is firm that the Champions Trophy 2025 should be hosted solely in Pakistan, assuring that Indian players would receive top-level security. The PCB highlighted its recent success in hosting England and New Zealand, promising a similar standard for the Champions Trophy.
Meanwhile, a video went viral when a Pakistani fan asked Suryakumar Yadav, the captain of the Indian T20 squad in South Africa, why India is not coming to Pakistan. The incident took place while some Indian players were out after the second match.
The fan asked “ Ek baat bataiye Aap Pakistan kyun nahi aate (Why don’t you come to Pakistan?) Suryakumar Yadav smiled and replied “Arey bhaiya! Humare haath me thodi hai (Hey Brother it’s not in our hands),”
