Old Trafford: Westindies was on a sticky wicket when they were 32/1 when day was called off on day 2 and still trail England by 437 runs. When stumps was called off West Indies opener Kraigg Brathwaite 6 off 32 and Night watchman Alzarri Joseph 14 off 18 (1four) were at the crease.

Sam Curran who took the opener leg before almost got the nightwatchman Alzarri Joseph in the same fashion. However the left handed bowler and Captain Joe Root were reluctant to take a DRS. In the ball tracking all the three sections were marked red.

The consistent rain ensured that there was not a single bowl bowled on Day 3. Which means, westindian batsman has now has to face 2 days of english bowling to draw the test match, if the game is unintruppted by the rain again.

It is to be noted that Westindies are 1-0 up in the test series thanks to the 4 wicket win at southhampton. A draw in the second test will ensure that Windies can't lose the series.
