But now after winning 5 consecutive matches RCB finds themselves in a position where if they play their cards right, they could easily make it to the playoffs.
 
Their recent win against Delhi Capitals (RCB vs DC) on May 12 has put them in a good spot reigniting hope among the disheartened fans in Bengaluru.

Their final match is against Chennai Super Kings at their home ground, the Chinnaswamy Stadium. This match is like an eliminator with both teams having global fanbases who will be glued to their screens. Currently Chennai Super Kings sit at the third position with 7 wins and 6 losses in 13 matches, totaling 14 points with a net run rate of +0.528. On the other hand, RCB is at the 5th position with 12 points in 13 matches, winning 6 and losing 7 with a net run rate of +0.387.
 
The final IPL match for both Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will take place on May 18 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. To qualify, Bengaluru will need to accomplish one of two things:
