Lucknow: Royal Challengers Bangalore premier player Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir have been handed out hefty fines for breaching IPL Code of Conduct during the match between the two sides on Monday.
Virat and Gambhir were involved in a huge altercation after Bangalore clinched a victory over Lucknow in a low-scoring game.
Post-match visuals showed Gambhir and Virat engaging in an animated chat after he whisked away Kyle Mayers who had walked up to Virat and said something.
Despite this, tempers flared up between Gambhir and Virat. Few players who were around kept watching, but LSG Captain KL Rahul separated the two and had a chat later on.
