Rishabh Pant To Chennai Super Kings IPL 2025 Mega Auction :Everyone knows how excited cricket fans get for the IPL but the excitement reaches new heights during the mega auctions. This year's auction is set to bring major changes to the teams and fans are already buzzing with anticipation. MS Dhoni may not be active on social media but he always remains a hot topic for fans there.

He has been dealing with a knee injury over the last two IPL seasons which led to him dropping down the batting order in IPL 2024. Despite this, his injury has not visibly affected his performance or wicket-keeping.

Even now one might say Dhoni is fit enough to play comfortably for another 5-6 years. However, fans know that eventually, they will have to bid adieu to him in the IPL as well. Dhoni could, however stay with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as a mentor.

CSK will have to find a replacement for Dhoni, who has won them 5 trophies, and according to some reports Chennai might consider Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant to include in their team. Ricky Ponting, a former head coach of Delhi Capitals, is no longer with the team and there is some disappointment with Pant’s captaincy following his year-long absence due to a car accident.

According to a report in Dainik Jagran, discussions are underway about potentially trading Pant. However, the franchise’s cricket director, Sourav Ganguly supports keeping Pant as captain. If Delhi decides to release Pant before the 2025 IPL auction, Chennai may look to sign him as Dhoni’s replacement.

Amidst these news, Rishabh Pant did something which made the fans think that his coming to Chennai Super Kings is certain.

Rishabh Pant posted a picture on Instagram on Tuesday, copying the pose of superstar Rajnikanth, with the caption "Thalaiva." The post has received over 1 million likes and more than 5,000 comments so far.

Coincidentally, Dhoni had also posted a picture in August 2016 mimicking the same pose, which is from the film Kabali.
