The India ODI and T20I captain Rohit, who is undergoing rehabilitation at NCA, shared some advice with the young boys ahead of their Under-19 Asia Cup.The Under-19 Asia Cup will take place in the UAE from December 23.
"Priceless lessons. #TeamIndia white-ball captain @ImRo45 made most of his rehab time as he addressed India’s U19 team during their preparatory camp at the NCA in Bengaluru," the BCCI tweeted.
Rohit, who played at Under-19 level in 2006, was set to travel to South Africa for the three-match Test series. However, the newly appointed vice-captain of India Test side was ruled out due to a hamstring injury which he sustained during a practice session in Mumbai.
He was subsequently replaced by Priyank Panchal, who led India A against South Africa A in three four-day matches. Rohit is expected to recover between three to four weeks, which means he would be able to travel South Africa for the ODI leg.(UNI)
