Rohit to become 15th Indian player to appear in 200th ODI

Hamilton: Known for hitting prowess Indian batsman Rohit Sharma is set to play his 200thODI when they take on New Zealand during the fourth ODI here on Thursday to become the 15th Indian player.     
  
Rohit began his ODI career on June 23, 2007 at Belfast in Ireland. After 12 years the stand-in-captain will complete his 200th ODI. Rohit is the only player to score three consecutive double centuries in the ODIs. From 199 matches he has amassed 7799 runs with 22 centuries and 39 half-centuries at an average of 48.14.  
 
Other Indian players who have completed this feat are Sachin Tendulkar (463), M S Dhoni (337),  Mohammad Azharuddin (334), Sourav Ganguly (311), Yuvraj Singh (304), Yuvraj Singh (304), Anil Kumble (271), Virender Sehwag (251), Harbhajan Singh (236), Javagal Srinath (229), Suresh Raina (226), Kapil Dev (225), Virat Kohli (222) and Zaheer Khan (200).  (UNI)
