The wedding of India’s star cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal has been postponed indefinitely after Mandhana’s father suffered a sudden health emergency during the celebrations in Sangli. The news was confirmed by her manager, Tuhin Mishra.
According to reports, a shocking incident unfolded during the wedding festivities when Smriti Mandhana’s father suddenly suffered a heart attack, creating panic at the venue. An ambulance was called immediately, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent treatment.
A PTI report stated that a man collapsed after a heart attack in the middle of the Mandhana–Palash wedding rituals, causing chaos. It was later confirmed by Mandhana’s manager that the person was indeed her father.
The wedding celebrations, attended by prominent personalities and close family members of both the bride and groom, came to an abrupt halt when the sound of ambulance sirens filled the venue, leaving everyone stunned.
As per PTI, Mandhana’s father experienced a minor cardiac arrest, following which emergency medical assistance was summoned right away. All wedding rituals were suspended after the incident, and the ceremony has now been postponed until further notice.
