South Africa A fight back to tibe 17-run lead to India A

Mysuru: In a fight back South Africa 'A' made 400 in first innings against India 'A' first batting total of 417 on the penultimate day of the 'unofficial test' played at SNW stadium here today.

 
On a beautiful batting condition a Gangotri Glades Stadium, South African Capptain Aiden Markaram with 161 and Wieen Mulder 131 n.o. the Proteas reached close India A team score in the first innings at 417 conceding 17 runs lead.At draw of stumps  India made 14-0.
 
Aiden Markram, who in all likelihood will open for South Africa in the first of three Tests starting on October 2 in Visakhapatnam, top sored in a good batting display scoreing 161. His 155-run sixth-wicket stand with allrounder Wiaan Mulder, who made his fourth first-class century, lifted South Africa A from 142 for 5. The visitors eventually were bowled out for 400 but came within 17 runs of India A's 471 fist innings score.
