South Korea pips Indian eves 2-1

Seoul: After winning two consecutive games, the Indian women's hockey team on Thursday lost its rhythm as they lost their third match of the five-match series to hosts South Korea 1-2.Despite the defeat, the Indian eves lead the series 2-1. The three goals of the match were held in the first 16 minutes within four minutes of interval.Because of Seul Ki Cheon efforts, Korea got lead in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Yurim Lee striked to extend the hosts' lead to 2-0. India opened their account in the 16th minute as Lalremsiami found the nets.

However, the women in blue failed to equalize the matter and went on to lose the issue 1-2. Both the sides will now clash in the fourth match of the series on Friday.(UNI)
