Steve Smith makes his Broadcast debut as an IPL expert

Kolkata: Star Sports, the official television broadcasters of the IPL 2023, has announced that Steve Smith, the Australian captain and one of the world's finest cricketers, has joined the expert panel for the marquee tournament.

Smith will be making his broadcast debut with Star Sports, adding his invaluable insights and expertise to Star Sports’ already impressive roster of panelists.
 
As a cricketer, Steve Smith needs no introduction. His outstanding performances on the field have earned him a reputation as one of the best batsmen of his generation across all formats. He has scored over 10,000 runs in international cricket, including 27 centuries, and has been a part of two successful World Cup campaigns with Australia.
 
He is the only Overseas player to have captained the legendary MS Dhoni in an IPL campaign where they played the Final for Rising Pune Supergiant in 2017.
