Surrey batsman Ollie Pope added to England Test team

Chennai: Surrey batsman Ollie Pope has been added to the England Test squad for the tour of India.

A statement from England Cricket Board here today said Pope has fully recovered from a left shoulder injury sustained in August last year against Pakistan.

The England medical team was satisfied that he is available for selection.

The 23-year-old practised with the full squad over the past two days at the M A Chidambaram Stadium, ahead of the first test beginning on Friday.

England will have their final practice at the stadium tomorrow. (UNI)
