Mumbai: National President of India Against Corruption ( IAC) Hemant Patil on Saturday demanded that disciplinary action should be taken against cricketer Kedar Jadhav who left in the middle of a match citing family reasons.
Patil said he will file a complaint with BCCI regarding Jadhav's act. "No matter how big a player is, he should follow the rules of the match committee and behave with sportsmanship, Otherwise, Jadhav should leave cricket and sit at home," said activist Patil here Saturday.
Kedar's behaviour is like ''growing up relying on cricket and kicking the same game, it is not advisable to do anything in a frenzy over money. Kedar has made many mistakes so far, now his mistakes will not be forgiven," warned Patil.
He said that Kedar is in Maharashtra team in Ranji Trophy. Maharashtra vs Tamil Nadu Ranji Trophy match was played at Gahunje Stadium in Pune. However, during this match, Kedar left the match halfway through citing family reasons. However, after this he met with Maharashtra Cricket Association President Rohit Pawar.
Kedar attended the MCA meeting called by Rohit Pawar. Patil demanded that this is a violation of discipline and disciplinary action should be taken against him without any further delay.
