New Delhi: Former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja believes the current national team is fortunate to kick-off their Test series against South Africa from a venue like Capetown, which usually carries a spin-friendly wicket.Jadeja, who also reckons that the current team led by Virat Kohli has the best ever bowling attack to tour South Africa, said that the first match of any Test series is the most crucial one.
Talking to mediapersons on the sidelines of a press meet for the India blind cricket team, who will leave for Pakistan and UAE to defend their World Cup title tomorrow, the 46-year-old said,"The current side touring South Africa has one of the best bowling attack. The team under Virat Kohli has the ability to script history and I hope they come back with flying colours.""However, despite a disciplined bowling attack it will be interesting to see the final eleven as we haven't seen the team playing with five bowlers in the past few months," added Jadeja. The former cricketer also said that of all the venues in South Africa, Capetown has the most spin friendly wicket which is going to be helpful for the Kohli-led side.(UNI)
