Team India wins fifth ODI against West Indies, wraps up series 3-1

Thiruvananthapuram: India defeated West Indies by 9 wickets in the fifth and final one-day International at Greenfield International stadium here on Thursday and wrapped the series 3-1.
The third ODI at Pune was ended in a tie.Chasing a comfortable target of 105, requiring 3.27 runs per over, India surpassed the target in 14.5   overs, thanks to the brilliant batting performance by Rohit Sharma an Virat Kholi.
 
Earlier West Indies, who won the toss and decided to bat first were bundled out at the lowest ever score of 104 against India.
 
Jadeja, Khaleel and Bumrah were the successful bowlers for India who  had ensured the West Indies bowled out for 104 runs. 
 
The disaster of the visitors started right from the first over and they lost their wickets at regular intervals.  Their bowlers  were also not up to the mark, enabling the Indian batesman to reach the traget of 105.
 
It was the  lowest ever score  by the West Indies in the history of their ODIs, as the previous lowest score was 121 runs against India in 1977 at port of spain.
 
The most successful bowler was  Ravindra Jadeja, who scalped four wickets, conceding 34 runs, in 9.5 overs. He was well assisted by Khaleel, Bumrah, who claimed two wickets each.
