Trinidad: The all rounder of Bangladesh cricket team Mashrafe Mortaza termed the three ODI series victory against Westindies as a boost before Asia cup. It is to be noted that the Asian tigers won an ODI series after 9 years on foriegn soil.
Tamim Iqbal smashed 103 runs in 124 balls which took Bangladesh to 301 runs. The caribean team fell short of 18 runs. Tamim was awarded man of the match and series for his blistering performance. Asia cup is scheduled in septemeber, where Bangladesh will take on Srilanka in the opening encounter on Sept 15 in Dubai. (WD)
