Bengaluru: Riding on superb inning by skipper Quinton de Kock, 79 off 52 South Africa beat India by nine wickets in the last and final match to level the three-match (T20I) series 1-1 here at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday.
Leading from the front, the South African skipper batted beautifully and also finished his 1000 runs as a wicket-keeper in T20Is.Reeza Hendricks 28 off 26 and Temba Bavuma 27 off 23 too played crucial knocks and helped South Africa level the series.Earlier, the first T20I of the three-match series was washed out in Dharamshala, while India won the second game by seven wickets in Mohali.
