Dubai: After a couple of low scores in the ongoing T20I series against South Africa, Indian skipper Virat Kohli lost his numero uno spot in the shortest format of the game.The Indian run-machine has now slipped to the third spot after scores of 26 and 1 in the first and second T20I match of the series.
Kohli has been replaced by Pakistan batter Babar Azam and is followed by Aaron Finch at the second spot.Babar, who had a superb series against New Zealand, sits at the numero uno spot with 786 points, while Finch is just behind him with 784 points. Kohli, who had a terrific outing in the ODI series against the Proteas, but witnessed a dip in his form in the shortest format of the game, is at 776 points. India's KL Rahul is the other Indian in the top 10 and is placed at the sixth position, with 726 points.
In the rankings for bowlers, Kiwi left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner sits at the top with 718 rating points. He swapped places with Ish Sodhi, who dropped to the third spot with 712 points. Afghanistan leggie Rashid Khan is at the second position, with 717 points.
India's Jasprit Bumrah remains seated at the fourth spot with 702 points and is followed by Samuel Badree.On the other hand, Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan continues to top the all-rounder's chart with 353 points and is followed by Glenn Maxwell, who has climbed to the second place.
