Bengaluru: The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has expressed deep anguish over the loss of lives and injuries in a stampede in Bengaluru ahead of the team’s arrival.

In an official statement, RCB conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the unfortunate loss of lives. The franchise reiterated that the safety and well-being of all supporters remains its top priority.

RCB said that upon learning of the situation, it promptly amended its program and adhered to the guidance and advice provided by the local administration.

The team appealed to its fans to remain safe and exercise caution during celebrations.

As many as 11 people died and 33 injured in the stampede.
