New Delhi: Wishes showered as former India all-rounder and men's cricket team ex-head coach Ravi Shastri turned 60 on Friday.
Cricket fraternity including current and former players extended their wishes on Shastri's special day.
Taking to Twitter, Sachin Tendulkar shared a picture with him and wrote: "Happy birthday to a teammate and a friend who lives and breathes cricket and was always there to discuss cricket with me! Hope you're celebrating the day just like the doctor ordered, Ravi!"
"Pick any iconic moment in Indian cricket in last few decades and you'll find Ravi Shastri there. On the field, in the comm box or in the dressing room. Happy Birthday to Indian cricket's man for all seasons," Wasim Jaffer tweeted while sharing a photo of Shastri.
Virat Kohli shared a throwback picture with Shastri on his Instagram story with the caption, "Happy Birthday Ravi bhai. Have a good one."

Indian Premier League franchise Rajasthan Royals shared a cue from Shastri's avatar that inspired a series of memes on social media and said: "Birthday wishes are optional when you celebrate life daily. Enjoy your day, Ravi Shastri.
Shastri, who was also a member of India's first-ever World Cup-winning team in 1983, has represented India in 80 Tests and 150 ODIs scoring 3830 and 3108 runs respectively. He also picked up 151 wickets in Tests and 129 wickets in ODIs.
He had a successful stint as the head coach of the Indian men's team too. Under his guidance, India won 25 out of 43 Tests and also achieved historic series wins in Australia twice.
Team India has played 76 ODIs and 65 T20 under Shastri's tenure out of which they won 51 ODIs and 43 T20Is. (UNI)
