In India, the second phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll began on November 4. The last date to submit the SIR form is December 4. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have already delivered the forms door-to-door. If your family has not received the form for any reason, you should immediately contact your local BLO.

The SIR form contains the mobile number of the BLO. Even if your form hasn’t arrived, you can get the BLO’s number from any neighbor or household where the form has been delivered.

Currently, the most common issue people are facing is finding their names in the 2003 voter list. If your name was included in the 2003 electoral roll, you can search for it on the Election Commission’s website. If your name isn’t listed, you may search using your parents’ or grandparents’ names.

If you already have your 2003 voter ID card, you don’t need to search the list. You can simply fill in your voter number, part number, and constituency name mentioned on the card into the SIR form.

How to Search Your Name in 2003 Voter List

For example, in Madhya Pradesh, you can check the 2003 voter list using this website https://ceoelection.mp.gov.in/VL2003.aspx

Steps:

1. Select your district.
2. Choose your assembly constituency.
3. Enter the captcha code.
4. Click Submit.

A list of polling stations will appear. Select the polling station where you or your parents voted in 2003. The voter list PDF for that station will download automatically. You can then check your name in the PDF.

Important Note

The 2003 voter list does not have a search option. You must manually scroll through the names one by one. If you know the names of neighbors or nearby residents from that time, it becomes easier to locate your family’s entry in the list.
