'14 Minute Miracle Cleaning': Vande Bharat trains stationed all over country cleaned simultaneously in record 14 minutes - WATCH

Mumbai: As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada, the Indian Railways carried out one of the most remarkable activity, when Vande Bharat trains stationed at different locations all over the country were cleaned simultaneously in a record time of 14 minutes.
 
This feat was conducted on Sunday for the first time in the history of Indian Railways under the able guidance and direction of Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, and in the august presence of other dignitaries through a video link.
 
This exercise was conducted on Solapur-CSMT-Solapur Vande Bharat Express at CSMT, CSMT-Sainagar Shirdi-CSMT Vande Bharat Express at Sainagar Shirdi and Bilaspur-Nagpur–Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express at Nagpur.
 
The cleaning operation started at 1242 hours after arrival of the train on platform no 8 at CSMT and was completed at 1256 hrs within a record 14 minutes. The cleaning process was carried out by 44 cleaning staff in three teams.
 
The cleaning operation was done in a record time of 14 minutes as follows -- 2 minutes for collection of garbage in bags, 3 minutes for cleaning of seats and snack tables, 3 minutes for cleaning of panels and coach and 6 minutes for cleaning of coach flooring.

To achieve this remarkable challenging unit, Indian Railways has adapted an innovative approach, technique and equipment to achieve this remarkable feats, the release added, release said. (UNI)
