Alert Railway Police constable saves minor boy's life at Vasai Road railway station

Palghar: The presence of mind and swift action by a Railway Police constable has saved a ten-year-old boy from being run over by a local train at the Vasai Road railway station on the Western Railway.
On Tuesday morning at around 1120 hours, the boy Malesh Yalgi while getting down from a Virar local train on platform number 2/3 slipped and fell down on the tracks.At that time, policeman on duty A S Thanabeer rushed in, pulled out the boy and got him admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment, an official release said on Wednesday.The video of the constable carrying the boy in his arms to the hospital has gone viral on social media, and has been well appreciated by one and all.(UNI)
