The government is trying to tighten the screw of such fake accounts under the new IT rules. The Government of India has asked social media companies to delete those accounts within 24 hours after receiving notice regarding fake accounts.
The Government of India has made it mandatory for social media platforms to comply with the new IT rules. All the platforms will have no option but to act immediately after receiving the complaint. In a bid to increase the followers, If a user creates a fake profile of a renowned celebrity viz player, movie actors, female celebrity, politician etc, he/she have to delete it within 24 hours.
If a user impersonates someone on Virtual world, then this piece of information is an alarm for him. Fake accounts are created for many reasons, they are mostly used by criminals to get the heinous act done. As soon as complaints are received these account will be deleted within 24 hours. Creating fake profiles can be fun for some, but it is illegal. If one wants to keep his account safe, then social media should be operated with utmost care. (WD)
