Facebook was hit by a bizarre bug on Wednesday morning that filled user feeds with random posts and memes tagging celebrity accounts such as Taylor Swift, Shakira, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and Eminem.
According to DownDetector.com, over 330 complaints about the issue on Facebook were reported by users till 1 pm today.
The Age reported that a spokesperson from Meta, Facebook’s parent company said: “We’re aware that some people are having trouble with their Facebook Feed. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and we apologise for any inconvenience.”
