DISGUSTING! Ice cream factory employee licks each ice sticks before packaging in Kerala, video goes viral

A video of an employee at Ice cream factory in Kerala’s Kozhikode tasting each ice sticks before packing has gone viral on the social media. The viral clip sparked public outrage over the unhygienic practice.

The incident took place at an establishment named ‘Ice Me’, operating in Elettil Vattoli in Kizhakkothu panchayat, near Koduvally.

Following complaints from locals, the police intervened and sealed the factory.

The food safety division of the Koduvally circle suspended the shop's registration and forwarded a report to the Assistant Food Safety Commissioner in Kozhikode for further investigation and action.

Samples from the factory were collected and sent to the Malappuram Regional Analytical Lab for examination. The Koduvally police detained the man as part of the investigation.
