Reacting to a viral video of a little boy requesting biryani and chicken fry at anganwadi, Minister for Health, Women, and Child Welfare Veena George promised action to revise the food menu at Anganwadis across Kerala.
In the viral video, Riju S Sundar nicknamed Sanku, a Devikulam native, can be heard asking his mother for biryani and chicken fry at the anganwadi instead of upma. His mother recorded his request while he was enjoying a plate of biryani at home and later posted it on Instagram, where it quickly went viral.
As the video went viral, Minister Veena George took to her Facebook page and assured action to revise the food menu at Anganwadis across the state.
"The government will look into revising the food menu to consider Sanku’s demand," said minister in the video posted on her Facebook page.
