In a disturbing incident, a US man has been accused of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl, resulting in her contracting herpes and chlamydia.
25-year-old Jhensen Luis Cruz-Arroyo, from Raleigh, North Carolina, was arrested on March 4 and remains in jail without bond.
As per The Mirror report, the incident was occurred on December 8, 2024. The accused had been looking after the girl but when she returned back to house, her mother found a rash in her genital area.
The concerned mother then took the girl to the doctor. The tests confirmed that she had herpes (HSV-1) and chlamydia.
As per the charging documents, the victim “confessed” that Cruz-Arroyo sexually abused her and allegedly put his mouth on her crotch area.
