Madhya Pradesh: Tribal woman stripped, beaten in Jhabua, Video goes viral

Jhabua: A married tribal woman has been stripped and assaulted at Petlawad tehsil’s Ruparel village – within Raipuriya Police Station limits – and a video of the horrifying incident went viral in social media following which three individuals were taken into custody whereas a couple are absconding.

Police said on Thursday that some motorcycle-borne persons were attempting to abduct the victim and her garments tore during the scuffle.

The female had left her husband Mukesh Katara and came to live with her previous spouse.

The incident was perpetrated by Katara and his accomplices. Katara is among those in the law-enforcement net. (UNI)
