In a bizarre incident during internal exams at AIIMS Rishikesh, an MBBS student tried to sneak a mobile phone into the exam hall by hiding it inside his slipper.
Security personnel caught the student during routine checks, and the moment was captured on video, which quickly went viral on social media.
Internal exams for medical students are currently underway at AIIMS Rishikesh. On Tuesday, the student attempted to conceal his mobile phone inside a slipper and enter the examination hall. Every student undergoes thorough checks before being allowed inside, with security personnel ensuring that no unauthorized devices are brought in.
When the student was frisked outside the exam hall, the mobile phone hidden inside the slipper was discovered. Another student recorded the incident, and the video was later posted online, spreading rapidly.
The viral clip shows the student asking the security personnel to return his phone, while other students waiting to take the exam can be seen laughing at the incident.
Dr. Srilay Mohanti, Public Relations Officer at AIIMS Rishikesh, stated that all students are thoroughly checked before entering the examination hall. The institution maintains strict vigilance to ensure transparency and integrity in exams.
