Mumbai SHOCKER! 80-year-old man attempts to molest 15-year-old boy inside mosque

An 80-year-old man has been arrested in Mumbai for allegedly attempting to molest a 15-year-old boy inside a mosque within the jurisdiction of Sir J.J. Marg police station.

The accused, who is responsible for calling the Azaan at the mosque, allegedly misbehaved with the boy on two separate occasions, February 26 and March 6.

The victim used to regularly visit the mosque for Quran recitation. The accused allegedly inappropriately touched the minor and asked him to remove his pants. The boy reported the incidents to his parents, leading to the filing of a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The accused has been taken into custody and presented before a court, which remanded him to judicial custody.
