Major airports across India have turned into scenes of chaos and confusion. Long queues, restless passengers, rising tempers, and arguments with staff have become the norm — all triggered by IndiGo’s massive wave of flight delays and cancellations disrupting thousands of travel plans.

According to reports, over 500 IndiGo flights — both domestic and international — were cancelled on Friday, with the airline citing “operational issues” as the reason.

Amid this disorder, a video on social media has gone viral for a heartbreaking reason.

In the clip, a distressed father can be seen desperately pleading with IndiGo staff for a sanitary pad for his daughter, shouting repeatedly:

“Sister, mere beti ko sanitary pad chahiye… neeche se blood gir raha hai (my daughter needs a sanitary pad… she’s bleeding)”

Shockingly, neither the surrounding passengers nor the airport staff stepped forward to help him, sparking outrage online and adding to the criticism already directed at the airline.

"Why there are no sanitary pads available in washrooms or in medical stores. I heard there was no water and food available on airport yesterday. Today also over 550 Indigo flights canceled."

Another user wrote:

"Shame on @IndiGo6E you guys are not prepared for the basic things a passengers needs. We are living in 2025 & Pad is the most important requirement of any female which is even available on metro washrooms. Absolutely Pathetic!! Feel bad for the father who is crying for Pad for his daughter."
