Katy Perry Caught Kissing Shirtless Justin Trudeau on Yacht in California, Romance Rumors Confirmed

Pop superstar Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were recently seen sharing affectionate moments aboard Perry’s yacht, Caravelle, off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, on October 6, according to The Mail.

Photos captured by tourists on a nearby whale-watching boat showed the pair kissing and embracing on the yacht’s upper deck, confirming growing speculation about a budding romance between the singer and the former political leader.

Rumors about their relationship first surfaced in July, when Perry and Trudeau were spotted dining together at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal. That dinner marked their first public appearance together and quickly fueled social media chatter about a possible connection.

Then images of Trudeau emerged at Perry’s sold-out “Lifetimes” tour in Canada.

So far, neither Perry nor Trudeau has commented publicly on their relationship or responded to media requests for confirmation.

The sighting comes just months after Perry’s separation from British actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a five-year-old daughter. The couple had been together for several years before parting ways earlier this year.

Trudeau, who stepped down as Canada’s prime minister in early 2025, separated from his wife Sophie Gregoire in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage. The former couple shares three children — two sons aged 18 and 11, and a 16-year-old daughter.

The latest yacht photos have set social media abuzz, with fans and media outlets speculating whether Perry and Trudeau’s connection marks the beginning of a new high-profile relationship.
