New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh took a swipe at RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav a day after his party joined hands with Janata Dal-United Nitish Kumar for forming a new Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar.
Sharing a 2017 tweet by Lalu Yadav in which he mentioned that Nitish Kumar sheds skin in the same manner as a snake does, Singh wrote, “The snake has entered your home." The RJD founder had tweeted this after Nitish parted ways with his party and joined hands with the BJP in 2017.
Nitish has ditched the BJP for a second time to join hands with Lalu-led RJD to form a new government in Bihar.
Earlier, Nitish snapped ties with the BJP in 2013 when the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi was declared as the saffron outfit's PM candidate for the 2014 Lok Sabha election.
He contested the 2015 assembly polls by forming a Grand Alliance with the RJD and the Congress and emerged victorious.
But, Kumar did another political u-turn less than 20 months later, as he deserted the Grand Alliance and rejoined hands with the BJP to form the NDA government. (UNI inputs)
