School Aayah Beats, Bangs Nursery Student to Floor in Hyderabad; Video Sparks Outrage

A shocking incident of child abuse has surfaced from a school in Jeedimetla, Hyderabad, where a nursery student was violently assaulted by a female attendant. The assault came to light after a local resident filmed the incident on a mobile phone and uploaded it on social media, sparking widespread outrage.

According to police, the child had urinated in her clothes during class, after which a teacher called the aayah to take her outside. The video shows the attendant dragging the child to an open area and repeatedly pushing, hitting, and banging her head against the floor while the little girl cried helplessly.

Parents File Complaint After Video Goes Viral

After the video spread online, the child’s parents approached the school management demanding action. When the school failed to respond, they filed a complaint with Jeedimetla police.

Officials immediately registered a case and began an inquiry. The parents have demanded strict action against both the caretaker and the school for negligence and failing to ensure the child's safety.

Caretaker and School Booked Under Juvenile Justice Act

Police have booked the 55-year-old aayah and the private school under the Juvenile Justice Act and Section 118 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Officials said the accused took the child to the washroom area and assaulted her repeatedly.

The footage shows the aayah hitting the girl, stomping on her, and even banging her head on the ground. The child’s mother — who also works at the same school — learned about the incident only after the video surfaced.

Medical Report Confirms Internal Injuries

A medical examination revealed that the minor suffered internal injuries and was visibly terrified when taken for treatment. She is currently receiving care at a local hospital and is reported to be stable.

Inspector G. Mallesh stated that the assault may have been triggered by personal grievances the caretaker had with the child’s mother.

The accused has been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway.
