TRAGIC! Infant, with heart ailment, suffers uneasiness onboard Kerala-bound flight from Qatar; dies at hospital

An infant, who developed some uneasiness onboard a Kerala-bound flight, died at a hospital in Kochi.

The 11-month-old baby’s parents hail from Arimbra in Malappuram district. He met with the tragedy while he was on his way to the home state with his mother from Qatar, the police said.

Born as a preterm baby, the infant was already struggling with health issues and was being transported to his home state for further treatment, police said.

The infant, who had heart-related ailments, was brought dead to the hospital, according to the authorities.

As per police, the infant developed some uneasiness onboard the flight and he was rushed to a hospital in Angamaly soon after the flight landed at Nedumbassery airport.

The hospital sources said the baby’s body was handed over to the family members on the direction issued by the police after completion of the necessary formalities.
