Chikkaballapur: A man sustained grievous injuries after he fell while scaling the wall of Srinivasa Sagara Dam here.
He has been admitted to a hospital and is being treated, said the police.
In an attempt to impress his friends, the victim climbed up 25 feet, but lost his grip and fell down, sustaining serious injuries, police said.
The incident took place at 4 pm on Sunday. As soon as he fell down, he was rushed to the hospital, police said.
Climbing on the wall of the dam is prohibited as per law and the district administration is taking stringent measures to prevent such incidents from happening in future.
The police have registered a case in this regard and are carrying out investigations. (UNI)
