An IndiGo passenger physically assaulted the aircraft's pilot while he was announcing a delay in departure at Delhi Airport. A video of the incident is now viral on the social media.
The viral video shows an IndiGo pilot in the passenger cabin making an announcement when a man in a yellow hoodie abruptly runs up the aisle and hits the pilot. The passenger was heard saying, "Chalana hai to chala, nahi to mat chala, khol de,"
The incident took place on Delhi-Goa Indigo flight (6E-2175) which was scheduled to depart at 7:40 am but left at 6 pm due to dense fog.
The passenger was whisked out of the plane later and handed over to the authorities.
Indigo has filed a complaint against the passenger and is currently in the process of filing an official case.
On Sunday, Delhi and parts of North India experienced poor weather, stranding thousands of passengers at airports.
