Why Amir Khan's Women empowerment ad is a "no-brainer"!

Gender equality, are you sure? Is it equality or obsession with a particular gender?

Sushobhit Saktawat
Amir Khan has a thing for giving social messages through his films and TV shows and even ads, whatever that means. Needless to say, he often arrives at over simplistic notions and get away with his popular appeal. But hardly anyone takes him seriously, at least not those who are looking for concrete solutions and work diligently in that direction.

Now Amir has come up with a new ad, where is disguises himself as a sweet-seller and preaches us about gender equality. But how he does it? By naming his shop on the daughter's name! Gender equality, are you sure? Is it equality or obsession with a particular gender?

"Gurdeep Singh and Daughters!" It's just like saying, "Look, I gave you a shot on the board, I extended you a favor". But is it not normal, after all? Is running a sweet shop some sort of accomplishment? Doesn't this gesture end up making men superior after all, who have been doing it anyway, over the ages?

Just how stupid you can get, even by the retarded standards of Amir Khan!

(No Women's Day, girls. Get your head down and work. Welcome to the party and face the music. Nobody is having a picnic here, nobody gets free lunch. Be "anonymously equal". When you don't get no discrimination, you don't get no special mention either. Just another day in the office)
