7 Bangladeshis held for living in India without documentation

Palghar: Seven Bangladeshi nationals have been reportedly arrested on alleged charge of living in India without documentation, informed police here on Friday.Barring a 19-year-old teenager, the other six arrested are in the age group of 20-40, report said. According to police, the arrests were made during a raid at a residential locality in Tirupati Nagar of Virar.
They were arrested on December 11 by ATS officials, stated Palghar Police spokesman Hemant Katkar, adding that they didn't possess valid documents for their stay in India.Offences under The Passport Act and Foreign Nationals Act have been registered againt them with the Arnala police station, apprised police.(UNI)
